The Will County Democratic Party has prepared for this season’s political homestretch by unveiling a new website at WillCountyDemocrats.com.
Loaded with information for voters throughout Will County, visitors can easily look up details of their elected officials and townships. Local Democratic Party events, meetings and volunteer opportunities are also listed for reference. News items of particular interest are summarized on the home page with links to the full story and featured articles are highlighted in rotation at the top of the page.
To provide the most complete informational site while being good stewards of their resources, the Will County Democratic Party chose to work with a local company, Sprocket Websites, to build a site with Content Management capabilities. By assigning levels of admin rights, directors control the website profile while sharing update duties. Volunteer staffers now keep the pages fresh with news for voters as soon as it’s available. Already loaded with a wealth of information and up-to-date news items, the Will County Democratic Party intends to continue adding content to the new site. Visitors are encouraged to use the new website as a resource and to connect with party officials and others through the new Community Discussion Board. Click on the “Community” tab on www.WillCountyDemocrats.com to post questions and comments.
